Jet Limo

Why you guys care so much about flying cars when you can have this jet shaped limousine on the road. Its name is Limo-Jet because it is a hybrid design between a luxurious limousine and an aircraft with jet engines. This unusual vehicle was the idea of Dan Harris, but his dream was fulfilled by two motor enthusiasts, Frank DeAngelo, and Micheal Kashevatsky. This masterpiece limousine is now owned by Illinois-based company “Jetsetter, Inc.” After a lot of hard work and tears, the vehicle reaches perfection after 12 years.  The limo-jet is 42 feet long, 11.6 feet tall and has 28-inch wheels. Hence, it weighs approximately 6 tonnes. If you have 5million dollars then Literally no one can stop you from buying this beauty? Moreover, it is equipped with GM-Vortec V-8 eight-cylinder engine. 

Let's discuss what is inside. Inside, there is a huge space that will be almost enough for your party guest. In-addiction, there are some cool lights, high-quality speakers, and beautiful screens all over the place. Surprisingly, you can find a mini bar and a DJ booth too.  At the front of the vehicle, there is a single seat for the driver. Fortunately, this thing is the world’s first 100% street legal Learjet.

ANYmal

Let me tell you, that I like pets because they are so cute😍. But on other hand, pets poop, need food, time and need a lot of care. But, if you are so lazy, and want to buy a pet. Then this robot is yours, called ANYmal. This Robo-pet is born because of long term collaboration between the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology or ETH Zurich and ANYbotics. This animal is quadrupedal, which means it has 4 legs. It can perform autonomous operations on uneven surfaces and in extreme environments. Additionally, this robot has laser sensors, cameras and some precisely torque controllable actuators, all of these features are responsible for its successful dynamic running and climbing. It walks so nicely and smoothly, because this robo-pet analyses everything about its surroundings, it creates a virtual map for localization and carefully avoids footholds while walking. This pet is 27.5 inch high, 31 inches long and 15.7 inches wide. Obviously, with a lot of functionality, our pet is a little bit heavy, it weighs approximately 30kgs, but it can Carry an additional 5 to 10 kg of weight. 

With the help of a microphone, optical and thermal cameras, gas-detection sensors, this robot is a perfect candidate for industrial inspection of oil and gas sites.

Let's talk about Spot Mini, which is another robot, it is smaller and cuter than the previous robot. It has four legs like the previous robot too, and due to its small size, it is possible to take it with you anywhere, even in most narrow places too. The Spot Mini is created by Boston Dynamics and weighs 25kg without its upper arm. It is so quiet because it is working on electricity, its battery on a single charge last for approximately 90 minutes. Surprisingly, not only this robot has great mobility but it also has the ability to handle objects by using its 5-degree-freedom arm. Like many other robots, it also features depth camera, stereo camera, an IMU, and finally some position and force sensors in the limbs. The Good news is that the sale of this robot will start in 2019, but I don’t have any idea about its pricing.

A.I FUTURE HOTEL

China is going beyond the imaginations.

This is the future hotel of our dreams, a.k.a “Fly Zoo Hotel” which is introduced by a Chinese e-commerce company called Alibaba in the Hangzhou City of China. When you enter into this hotel, you have to go through facial scanning for security and identification reasons. You will be amazed to know that the facial recognition system of this hotel will allow you to use your face like a door’s key so that you don't have to carry the bundles of keys, which is little bit inconvenience in luxury class hotels.  In addition, You can also control the lights, TVs, other gadgets and accessories and curtains in the room by using voice commands to Alibaba’s digital assistant. If you are hungry or need something to Quench your thirst then just call these robots. The main function of these robots is that they will serve your dishes, cocktails, coffee and more. You might be thinking how can I book the room? The answer is simple, The Hotel booking just needs a few clicks from your smartphone. This hotel is a clear example of modernization of traditional industry like the Hospitality sector. Moreover, this hotel has 290 rooms, and the cost of a single night to stay is 1,899 yuan which is roughly 200$.

Bell Nexus Taxi  

Humans have no wings, hence we can't fly.  But, a company called “Bell Helicopter” believes enough is enough. They are seeking freedom and that’s why they introduced the “Air Taxi” concept. This futuristic machine is powered by a hybrid-electric propulsion system and it uses a Safran turbine. The battery distribution in this vehicle is very important. Manufacturers place one battery pack on the top and another battery pack below the aircraft. 

Even though this project seems to be an oversized drone, it’s way more than that. This vessel weighs 6,500 pounds, other than that,  it also supports 6 fans and 8-foot articulated ducted fans, which all-together are not only helping the Air-taxi to leave the ground perpendicularly but also allowing it to fly at unprecedented speed. 

The Nexus Taxi can accommodate four passengers and a pilot. In one hour, it can literally go up to 241 kilometers. For landing, this aircraft requires a helipad like a helicopter, but fortunately, it would also be able to land on existing helipads. According to the manufacturer, the company will sell this air-taxi after 4 years time, in 2023. Until then, We have to wait patiently. 🤨

ATLAS ROBOT

Introducing Atlas, a bipedal humanoid robot which came to life by the American robotics company called “Boston Dynamics”, with huge financial help from DARPA. Surprisingly, this humanoid robot is tall, approximately 1.8 meters high and weighs like an adult that is 82 kgs, and it is mainly built for various types of search and rescue missions. Atlas was first introduced in 2013, and until now it has gone through a lot of evolutions, all the way toward unbelievable perfection. 

In 2017, This robot showed us that he can jump just like us. He could jump on boxes, could turn 180 degrees in the air while jumping, and could also perform a backflip, which was a major breakthrough in the scientific world.

In 2018, this robot had gone wild, because he could run across the grass on the irregular pathway, and could perform various jumping stunts. 

If you were taking robot really lightly, and still sleeping in your comfort zone then this will be enough reason to wake you before it's too late.  

Handle Robot

All-though this robot looks little bit scary, he will definitely impress you. This crazy robot is created by Boston Dynamics. This bulky robot is surprisingly good. He can perform movements like going back and forth, going down step by step on the stair, jumping up without losing balance, Squatting, and picking up boxes. Further more, the Handle Robot loves wandering around snowy hill and can perform stunts like professional skateboarders can. This robot has an amazing sense of balance, two highly efficient wheels and the capability to go literally anywhere. I know you might be wondering, why is its name is Handle? Well, according to developers, this robot was designed for heavy lifting and it can carry load up to 50 kilograms. So they decided to give him a codename “Handle.” 

The robot is 6.5 feet tall and can reach its maximum speed of 9mph. Regardless of its size, it can jump upto 4 feet high, and can go up to 15 miles in a single charge. 

RidRoid CanguRo

If you need a Robo-Assistant, then “RidRoid CanguRo” is definitely designed for you. This robotic vehicle is developed by two researchers Shunji Yamanaka and Takayuki Furuta at Chiba Institute Of Technology. Anime and Manga-Series always feature robots as our friends.  Even though the name CanguRo means Kangaroo in the Italian language, It doesn't jump like them. However it looks like kangaroos, and like an obedient pet, it will never leave your side. It can transform itself whenever the owner wanted to ride it. The maximum speed of this pet is 6mph or 10km/h, runs smoothly. It weighs 64kg and features self-driving capabilities. The RidRoid CanguRo combines beautiful design and AI Technology, which can be controlled by your smartphone.

Well, If you wanted to increase your weight then just buy it. You don't have to walk anymore. Your weight will increase without any effort.😂
