China's BYD produces big and beautiful electric cars





We know that Tesla sells the most electric vehicles per hour but in second place is a brand called BYD. BYD stands for build your dreams. The McKenzie electric vehicle index states that Tesla sells on average 42 electric vehiclesper hour while BYD sells 26. 


The company has a joint partnership with Daimler to make vehicles under a brand called Denza. Denza already has electric garbage trucks in California and electric buses in Scandinavia.


 The portfolio of BYD continues to improve but their two most popular cars are the Hans and the Tang. In July 2020, the Tang SUV was first featured in the Norwegian Market at the cost of around $71,000. The mile range went up to 313 miles and the vehicle can go from zero to 62 miles per hour in less than five seconds. Did I mention it was cheaper than a Tesla Model X? Oh yes! 


 The Han Model which is a mid-sized sedan is very similar to the Tesla Model 3.  The all-electric Top Model can reach up to 62 miles per hour in only 3.9 seconds. the cost of this model is 40,000 dollars.
